I have always had an interest in health and wellness and loved keeping fit playing sport. I studied massage therapy at the Canberra Institute of Technology, which I completed in 2005 receiving an Advanced Diploma of Applied Science (Remedial Massage).
After a few years as a massage therapist, I had another calling and that was to become a Paramedic. Still interested in health but I felt I needed to help people in a time of need. I completed a Diploma of Paramedicine and continued to serve as a Paramedic for the next 15 years. My career led me into various management, mentoring and leadership roles. I understand the complexities of shift work and the stress it places upon your body and mind.
Feeling once again, that another path was ready for me to walk, I have returned to where it all began. Meraki Health has given me a focus and clarity on where I am headed. I believe healthcare contains such a wide range of modalities, that benefit all of us in so many different ways. This raised a keenness in me to study further once again, completing Diplomas in Kinesiology and Mind Body Medicine with the College of Complementary Medicine. I value the importance of health and wellness and the impact it has on our lives and our families.
I look forward to helping and assisting you on your health and wellness journey.
